I have pain ontop of my big toe. it looks completely normal and i am positive that i do not have an ingrown nail. when i put pressure on it, it hurts.

Correct there is no ingrown toenail other possibilities could include a subungual exostosis or a bone spur under the toenail, an enchondroma or similiar type of bony lesion. Make sure shoes are proper fit and you werent wearing anyone too tight. An xray would be a good starting point.
