Difficult diagnosis: Rashes or other skin conditions are very difficult to diagnosis accurately without actually seeing (and feeling) the rash. Although an itchy rash that comes and goes can be a fungal infection, there are many other possibilities as well. Best to see your family doctor or dermatologist to narrow the diagnosis.
