Gas: The sensation you are experiencing, as if there's something stuck in your stomach, may indeed be gas pressure, that is broken up by your manual massage. You could try ginger ale, which has stomach soothing properties as well as carbonation to break up the gas, or any of the other over-the-counter remedies such as Gas-X.
