Is it safe to use monistat if i don't have a yeast infection? (im not sure if i have an infection)

Yes: Unless you are allergic to it, Monostat will do nothing if you don't have a yeast infection. There are other things that can cause discharge though. If your symptoms don't resolve with treatment, see your doctor. Hope this helps!

Yeast infection: Monistat will only treat a yeast infection. If you have anything else it will not help you. It also will not hurt you so if you have thick white vaginal discharge ( cottage cheese looking) and itching and if you are not sure it is OK to use the moist at as long as you have no allergies to the components

Yes: but do't treat yourself for something you are not sure of.
