Numerous: Week one, constipation, step-wise increasing fever to constant level, headache, lethargy, malaise, muscle and abdominal pains. In 2nd wk rose spotted rash, diarrhea, slow pulse, stupor replaces headache. 3rd and 4th weeks can produce GI hemorrhage, perforation of bowel, heart muscle dysfunction, septic shock and death. Bad disease to have.
