Maybe: Frequent uti's are more commonly due to urinary tract obstructions, or incomplete treatment of the primary UTI with antibiotics which were resistant or the patient's failure to complete all the pills. After 3 uti's in one year most md's recommend a cystoscopy evaluation be done by a urologist or urogynecologist.

Possibility: Bladder cancers, are frequently associated recurrent urinary tract infections, need to be seen by the urologist on regular basis, how ever all recurrent utis are not due to bladder cancers.
