Consider evaluation: It's unlikely though possible if you have a history of induced vomiting. Other causes of chronic sore throat could be due to vocal cord dysfunction or untreated acid reflux. Upper endoscopy by GI specialist can assess the integrity of esophagus and evaluate acid reflux while ENT or a pulmonologist may help with vocal cord assessment
