Surgery: periods: If your surgery is on the eighth of the month, and your cycle is about 28 days, and "due" on the 15th of the month, you are on day 21 of your cycle , and if you are not pregnant, you should get your period on the 15th. Make certain that your doctor gets a serum pregnancy test before you have the surgery. This kind of surgery can of course interfere with a pregnancy and should not be done now.
