Outcome varies: If there is compression of one of the nerve roots it is sometimes equivalent to a "pinched nerve" . This type of physical compression of a nerve root can result in a radiculopathy. The outcome is variable. Sometimes over a period of days - weeks the radiculopathy will spontaneously improve. If you start noticing difficulty in pinching (weakness) of your thumb and index finger then check with MD.
