See the doctor: With his other medical problems and age I would recommend that he sees his doctor as soon as possible. His symptoms become even more concerning if he has lost weight or had change in bowel movements lately. If he is becoming dehydrated because he is not eating or drinking, would take him to the nearest emergency department.
