Inner labial pain: Generalized redness and swelling here can be due to minor irritation from tight clothing, feminine care products or a mild yeast infection. Wear comfortable cotton panties and don't use perfumed products near the area. If there is a whitish discharge, it is safe to apply an OTC yeast treatment for a few days. Localized swelling that worsens or drains pus must be checked by a doctor promptly.
