Do ach antibodies block or destroy ach receptors ?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Both in a way: ACh or acetylcholine antibodies can be both blocking and binding. They are nearly specific for Myasthenia Gravis. Binding essentially destroys the function. Acetylcholine is essential for nerve muscle and nerve nerve impulse transmission.
