Hormonal changes: Clear discharges around the time of ovulation are usually caused by hormonal changes and are benign. If you experience discharges that are not clear, vaginal itching burning or pelvic pain then seek medical to look for a cause.

Science: Analysis of one's discharge is one piece of information in a host of other signs and symptoms of ovulation. Unfortunately, it's not an exact science. Are you using ovulation predictor kit in addition to analyzing your discharge? That's a suggestion.
