Not likely: Ibuprofen is a NSAID and although the risk is low, you are advised not to use drugs in that family when pregnant. Consider Tylenol (acetaminophen) as an alternative or talk with your own doctor next time about what to take.

Not likely: Ibuprofen is a FDA category B medication. Its effects on pregnancy is trimester specific. Considering you are 31 weeks, it's unlikely that it will harm the baby.
