Very common: It's very common to have a sore throat post operatively, especially if you were intubated (had a breathing tube) as part of your procedure. Over the counter throat remedies can be used to help you symptoms as limited by your other medical conditions. If you begin to have a temperature (>101.5), trouble breathing, or another issue, call your doctor. Make sure to see your doctor post operatively.
