For you, may be ok: Very athletic and healthy people can have a lower resting heart rate. The Professional bike rider, Lance Armstrong in his prime, had a resting heart rate in the 40's. As long as you have no symptoms, you stay fit and in good shape, you should be fine. If you get any symptoms of fatigue, lethargy, tiredness, shortness of breath, lightheadedness, etc. than you need to se the Dr. Good luck.
