Yeast infection : Should begin working within a day or two. If you haven't had any change in your symptoms by day 3, or if they begin to worse whole on the prescription, give your healthcare provider a call. It could be that it's not a yeast infection, or there might be another process going on as well, requiring a different treatment

1-3 days: Nystatin works fairly quickly on simple yeast infections. Some people may notice a difference within hours of taking the first dose and others won't see any improvement until a few days later. It depends on the extent of the infection and your body's metabolism of the medication.

Nystatin tablets: If these are oral tablets then they will probably take forever to work as nystatin is not absorbed through the GI tract. Oral fluconazole might be a better choice.

Not effective for th: The intestinal absorption of nystatin is nearly zero. It is used for yeast in the mouth and throat. It is applied as a cream or powder to external genital skin. Oral therapy for you might be a single pill of fluconazole. You can stop the nystatin oral. You can get OTC creams, very effective, not expensive, such as miconazole or clotrimazole.
