Does nystatin and triamcinone acetonide cream treat vaginal yeast infection?

Yes and no: Nystatin is effective against vaginal yeast infections, but triamcinolone cream is not. It tends to relieve the itchy inflammation that goes along with the yeast vaginitis, however. Do not use it alone as it aggravates the yeast infection when used alone.
