Ovulation: The color and consistency of cervical mucus changes throughout the menstrual cycle. Not everyone gets midcycle pain, known as Mittleschmerz, which you are describing. It is associated with ovulation. Most likely you have ovulated. There are over the counter tests to determine your ovulation time. They are used if you are trying to get pregnant and best predict when to have intercourse.
