You only ovulate: One day the egg can live for up to 48 hrs you may ahve a vaginal infection or cervical infection or uterus infection, so see your gyn for a culture and exam or it may just be from your hormones.

Cervical mucus: Just because you have watery mucus for 15 days doesn't mean you're ovulating for 15 days. It just means you can't use cervical mucus as a reliable predictor for ovulation - which can be common for some women. If think you're having abnormal discharge, then it's time to check in with your doctor.

A 40-year-old female asked:
Watery cervical mucus at the beginning of ovulation. Is this normal?

Yes, normal: Yes, this is a response of your cervix to increasing estrogen levels which occur around the time of ovulation. This makes it easier for the sperm to get past your cervix and travel up into the uterus and tubes to fertilize your egg. Once you start producing progesterone, the cervical mucus becomes thicker/less watery.
