Depends: 1. If you are in a cast, follow your surgeon's activity restrictions, because the shoulder is carrying extra weight (the cast). 2. If you injured your arm in a fall, discuss your new symptoms with your doctor, as you may have an injury to the shoulder that is causing the burning, that wasn't immediately noticed. 3. Watch your sleep position, it can cause problems

First get checked : out that you did not also your shoulder or upper arm at the same time that you fractured your forearm/wrist region. Otherwise, it imost likely referred pain from the fracture & possibly related to the way you have to be careful in using the arm. Occasionally, another problem can develop known as Complex Regional Pain Syndrome previously called Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy so check with your doc.
