No: Hydrocodone a narcotic pain may be sometimes misspelled as hydrocodine but there is not a medication called hydrocodine. There is codeine which is another narcotic pain medication.

In a way: Hydrocodine is a misspelling of hydrocodone. Hydrocodone (hydrocodine) is a opioid (narcotic) derived from codeine and thebaine. Hydrocodone (hydrocodine) is indicated for the relief of moderate to moderately severe pain and is available in tablets, capsules and liquid forms in combination with acetaminophen or ibuprofen.
