When in doubt, yes.: If your child is not able to hold down liquids due to vomiting or will not drink, please see your doctor right away. One of the main dangers of gastroenteritis is dehydration in young children. Ricelyte or Pedialyte has electrolytes to replenish what is being lost. Please see if your child will drink one of those products found at the grocery store.

Yes: Since worse see doctor asap. Dehydration is a concern in a 1 year old. If child not urinating go to ER.
