Toothache: I believe you shoul see your dentist right away as your tooth may be developing an abcess. It could be serious.

Recent filling: After dental treatment, teeth can be sensitive. If a silver filling was placed, the tooth can appear darker than normal, especially if the decay was big and deep. If the pain is constant, throbbing and hurts a lot, return to the dental office for a post op check or follow-up. Your dentist should be able to answer your questions. Good luck
