Blood tests?: Were all blood tests normal including the ESR? Are there symptoms of fatigue, confusion or difficulty thinking? I would suggest going to the ER for a re-evaluation given the new symptoms of swelling.

Yes a visit to ER: Pain in both arms could signal cervical spine problems but MRI normal (? was it C spine MRI Swelling in the hand makes me think of a venous clot in the arm. Inability to move hand could represent stroke or cervical spine nerve impingement. Go to ER would be wise decision.
