I had a mammogram yesterday and today i have shoulder pain and pain down my right arm into my hand is this normal ?

Yes can happen: Depending on how you needed to be positioned and SQUEEZED against the machine then, YES, you can be a little sore. Take some Tylenol (acetaminophen) or Adv il as you're doing and use some ice on the shoulder until tomorrow. If it still bothers you then, switch to a heat pack. You'll get back to normal.....until your next mammogram! Hope not! Cheers!

Not related: There is no reason that a mammogram would cause the pain you describe, so there is no cause for worry in regard to the mammography. However, you could have strained or sprained something to result in the pain you describe.
