Depends on situation: Those with shingles are not as contagious as a those with cpx. Only the debris from active sores contain the virus, not the saliva or a cough.If the other kids were vaccinated or had cpx,the risk is minimal.If the sores have dried and or remain covered,transfer is unlikely.That said, the other parents may or may not be willing to accept any risk.
