Wouldn't blame meds: I would think more likely it would be dietary or genetic factors affecting an LDL cholesterol. True, the metoprolol could adversely affect the lipid profile but I think it's relatively unlikely. I would recc talking to your doctor about it more. There are other options for blood pressure management out there. Take care.
