Kidney pain: I wonder 'how' do you know it's your kidney -is it just in the back area? Have you ever had trouble with your kidney's before? I'm wondering if perhaps the viral infection caused you to be dehydrated, then you might have developed a few small kidney stones in the affected area. Try drinking a lot to flush things through. If it's still a problem, or worsens, get in to see your primary doc for exam.
