Can tooth pain cause eye pain?

Yes: Depending on where the tooth is (upper or lower), it can cause pain in the jaw, ear, temple, or near the eye. If you see any redness or swelling in these areas, or get a fever, that could indicate an infection. In that case see your doctor. Hope this helps!

Yes: Particularly from the upper canine or "eye" tooth. An infection in this area is a major concern as from here it can spread to the brain. Don't delay, see a dentist for a diagnosis.

Referred tooth pain: Yes, tooth pain could cause referred pain to the eye area. Also, sinusitis can cause this pain. See your dentist and get your teeth checked out. If you teeth look good then you pain is likely coming from another source. Shooting pains around the eye and forehead that are severe could be a nerve problem called trigeminal neuralgia. See your dentist for evaluation.
