Eat differently: John, the total amount of linoleic acid is not so important. It is an essential fatty acid, so you must eat some of it. What is really important is the ratio of it to other fats. Linoleic acid is an omega 6, commonly found in corn oil and other processed oils. Eat less processed foods, and swap corn oil for flax oil (high in Omega 3). You want a 2:1 Omega 6: Omega 3 ratio. Hope this helps!
