Wives Tales?: Vaginal or cervical mucous are not in any way a diagnostic or reliable marker of any part of the menstrual or ovulatory cycle. If you have missed a period then this could be an indication of pregnancy and you should test. If you have not missed a period then it is unlikely you are pregnant.
