A member asked:

Sharp and sudden pain on the left side of my head, above my ears, where i can feel my pulse. lasts for 5-10 seconds?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Headache!: The temporal artery is normally felt where you're noticing the pulse - that's okay. The headache is likely either muscle contraction pain ("tension headache") or (if it's lasting longer, especially with sensitivity to light and nausea) a migraine.
