Rash treatment: The question is 'what' is causing your rash - if it's a routine bacterial folliculitis, it should indeed respond to antibiotics -- and you're on dual therapy. I wonder if there might be something 'more' to your case? I think this warrants a call back to the doc - you probably need further evaluation. Sometimes a rash can be a viral infection that won't respond to antibiotics at all.

Waite for another da: Folliculitis is infection of hair Follicle. If after another day i.e. 48 hours this area is not better then change the Doxycycline to either Caphelaxine or Penicillin based Antibiotic. Continue with Mupirocin.
