Baby toothpaste: It is great that you are brushing your baby's teeth. The most important thing is to use toothpaste without fluoride . Use a baby toothpaste or non at all for brushing the teeth. Xylitol is used in toothpaste as a filler in very small amounts. It will not harm your baby. In fact there have been several studies that show xylitol can prevent tooth decay in the right amount.
