A member asked:

I've torn my rotator cuff, is there anything i can do to ease the pain and help it heal?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

It can heal: You can use heat to try to help the body heal the tear. You need exercise so you will not develop a contracture. Would have your physician send you for physical therapy to maintain your range of motion. If it's a complete tear you would be unable to move your arm through much of an arc and then you may need surgery. Many smaller tears can heal on their own. You can use NSAIDS to for the pain
