Do you mean T4: not free T4, or did you type in the wrong number, as 11.71 would be highly abnormal. You need to discuss these results w/your doctor. If freet-4 question is resolved, and tsh continues to increase, it means your thyroid is continuing to fail. You can wait as long as you want, but thing will only get worse. Hypothryoidism: Need a serum Free T3 (liothyronine) too. Then Armour Thyroid titrated,....to get Free T3 (liothyronine) to high normal. you can wait...but symptoms won't go away...

Doesn't add up: Your TSH doesn't correlate with your FT4, Are you sure your Ft4 is 11.7? This is too high, look at the blood report one more time and let me know. Your TSH is high and if it's 10 and your Ft4 is within normal range (0.8-2.5) and you are symptom free then you have subclinical Hypothyrodism and it's time for treatment. Usually elevated TSH and Ft4 are lab error, or very rare medical conditions.
