Dilation procedure.: You are probably going to need a dilation procedure. A tube inserted into the urethra of a larger caliber then the stricture which will dilate the area of he stricture. You can get numbing medicine so it's not as bad as it sounds. The real challenge is that you will need to have this procedure again and again as the area of the stricture "heals itself" and forms another stricture,
