Hernia: It sounds like you have two problems. The second one, an umbilical hernia, needs to be repaired urgently if there is pain. I am not sure what the bloating is. This can represent numerous different possibilities and your doctor can help you figure this out.

Possible hernia: You may have an abdominal wall or umbilical hernia. If you feel any pain or unable to reduce swelling by finger pressure or any change in overlying skin color should check with your doctor promptly. These are the signs of incarceration
