A member asked:

Can dengue return? after having the severe one

Dengue: Absolutely. There are 5 different serotypes of this flavivirus and infection with one may not confer immunity to the others. Reinfection may create dengue hemorrhagic fever, a the life-threatening condition resulting in bleeding, low levels of blood platelets and blood plasma leakage, or into dengue shock syndrome, where dangerously low blood pressure occurs.
