Bleeding from: the belly button is usually due to infection, so give the antibiotics some time to work. Occasionally it is due to a congenital anomaly, urachal remnant or cyst, connecting to the belly button. Call your doctor if it is getting worse or not starting to clear up over the next couple of days.
