A member asked:

Why do people say we all start out in the womb?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Your kidding, right !: While human fertilization occurs in the fallopian tube, the pregnancy itself will not really start until the fetal cells implant in the womb. Failure to implant leads to shedding of the products of conception.Implantation begins the formation of the early placenta & cord, which nourishes the developing fetal cells. So, in fact, we all start out in the womb.
