Iv just got a letter from the hospital to let me no the sample from the lining of my womb and it says showed proliferative endometrium what does this ?

Biopsy results: That basically means there is no sign of any abnormal or atypical tissue. Proliferative refers to where the dating of your cycle would be when the sample was obtained. Good news. Everything sounds normal

BFrutful&Proliferate: There are two main phases of the endometrium (lining of the uterus) in the usual menstrual cycle(before your period).After your period, the lining is thinner and estrogen from a follicle in the ovary promotes its re-growth(proliferation of cells).Later on,the follicle changes into a 'corpus luteum'and secretes progesterone,that changes the lining into a 'secretory' phase designed for implantation
