Time will tell: Blisters and skin irritations heal with time, but a wart will hold its ground. Warts are caused by a virus that involves the epidermis. Warts develop a blood supply in the skin. These tend to bleed ever so slightly under the skin forming little dark spots. Warts usually require a treatment to get rid of them. If this is not clearing up in a few weeks, you may want to have it looked.
