Tenesmus : The symptom of not being able to empty your bowels completely is called tenesmus. I wonder if you have a straight forward gastroenteritis which could cause these symptoms you report. It sounds like u know all about stool impaction having done your own investigations there. The lack of abd pain and distention makes me think u don't have a blockage. If worsens though, u may need your doc 2 help-call
