A member asked:

Why is it recommended to share with parents about feeling down? i can predict their cookie cutter response and lack of comprehension.

Support: Everyone feels down sometimes, and I know that when you share this, you get the usual polite responses, but having a large support network is important in overcoming sadness. Also, should you start to show signs of being suicidal, it is important other people know, so they can get you help. If you do start having suicidal thoughts, seek help immediately! Hope this helps, and good luck!
