No such thing: We now know there is no rational or valid medical reason for outbreaks. There appears to be no rhyme or reason for this. Some people blame stress or having other concurrent illnesses. But we now know that 90% of people who have herpes never have an outbreak. Remember we also now know that having a sore is not in any way correlated to contagiousness.
