Decreased bloodflow: Fainting is caused by a decreased bloodflow to the brain, causing your body to momentarily shut down. This can be due to something as simple as standing up too fast after sitting, or something as complex as a heart, brain, vascular, or other issue. Only one cause: Well, in actuality, there is only 1 cause of fainting or what we technically call SYNCOPE and that is a sudden critical shortage of blood flow to the brain. What you are trying to ask (I believe) is to name a few things which cause a blood flow shortage to the brain, right? Abnormal cardiac rhythms , severe dehydration, sudden cerebral blood clot, diabetes, pregnancy, sudden vagal stimulation

Fainting: Biggest cause in your age range is not enough fluids. Drink half your weight in ounces. Stop all caffeine! eat three meals a day and if your symptoms don't improve see your doctor. Make sure you have salt in your diet.
