Impossible to say: This is impossible to answer without being able to perform an exam and review the MRIs and x rays. You should direct that question to the doctors currently treating you and get a 2nd opinion.

Sciatica?: Sorry you are suffering from this...There are several common causes of sciatica including sacroiliac joint irritation or a herniated disk. If your pain does not get better, if numbness affects the crotch, or if you have bowel or bladder difficulty, then you may need a surgical evaluation, otherwise your primary care provider or physiatrist +/- physical therapist can help with definitive treatment.
