Caffeine = stimulant: Caffeine will 'revv up' the bowels - so if you're already having diarrhea, it's not really a good idea. Better to stick to foods like chicken soup that have fluid and some salt -- both things you are losing with diarrhea. A 'simple' diet is probably best -- rice, toast, bananas so that you give your GI tract a break. Diarrhea is good in a way - you're getting rid of toxic stuff. Feel better!
